One of the newest additions to The Space is Paint Your Own Pottery and ceramics!  We’ve got lots of bisque inventory to choose from for you to paint and we get more in frequently. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we can also order it for you.  At least once a month we have open hours where you can just come in and paint whatever you choose.  There is no studio fee, just buy your bisque ware and we’ll help you find the glazes you need to create your soon-to-be favorite piece of pottery.

You’ll need to leave your piece with us for a while.  It has to thoroughly dry, then we give it an overglazing that will make it shiny and then we give it a final firing in the kiln.  We ask that you allow two weeks for this process.  We also have a wheel, and offer classes in wheel throwing and hand building techniques.

The Space would like to thank Kitzmiller-Bales Trust for a very generous donation that made it possible for us to purchase much of equipment for our new pottery opportunities. When you purchase your pottery from The Space, all the money goes back to The Space and goes a long way to keeping us up and running.  All of our staff are volunteers and The Space wouldn’t be possible without their hours of dedication.
